Collaboration Village
District development at BER, Schönefeld
West of Berlin Brandenburg Airport “Willy Brandt” (BER), a new quarter is being developed that is well connected to Berlin and the world through the airport. The mix of coworking, university uses, temporary housing and commerce will create a multifunctional, lively suburban quarter.
“Towards the future: New Work und Next Growth.”
NXT Collaboration Village Berlin – A bustling urban village – arranged around the brand-new campus of the XU Group, Germany’s first university for digitalisation. A place of physical and digital networking will be created around a central green campus square. In this inspiring and activating environment to promote cooperation, creativity and education, Sehw Architektur has not only been commissioned with the master planning of the quarter and a design manual for the individual buildings, but will also plan several buildings, such as a mobility hub and a hybrid-use building for teaching, working, conferencing, local amenities and catering. Towards the future: New Work and Next Growth.
