Am Hochschulring

A modern office building is being built on the campus of the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau for tenants from the science and research sector. With access from different directions, the building can be entered from the campus, the suburban railway station or from the town centre, thus creating a network. A spacious forecourt with a terrace and catering facilities forms the gateway to the building. Two central foyers, which provide access to the clearly structured office units, provide orientation inside the building. The ground floor offers space for events, while on the upper floors the office units are grouped around two inner courtyards with adjoining terraces for informal working. The top floor is designed as a staggered storey with a large roof terrace facing the forecourt. The building’s façade reflects the structural grid in coloured prefabricated concrete elements.
